LOL - did you catch that story out of Montreal? Apparently a teacher threw out her cup without checking the rim. A 10-year old found it, and had an older 12-year-old friend roll the rim up for her. Well, guess what!? It was the car! Now they are battling over who is entitled to it, hehe. I say it belongs to the 10-year old. Finders keepers
Thought we could use some good old canadian humour

Correction though, although I could be wrong, but the reports I heard is that it's a janitor that wants in on it now and not a teacher... But I could be wrong...
I never win much on the roll up the win... This time round I've only won a coffee... Where I work they drink a ton a day and haven't won much...
Good luck to those playing =)

I'd go out to my car and get them but its been raining all day. I'll check it out tommorrow and let you know if I won anything. My husband hates this timmies promo since he can't roll his r's! It frustrates the hell out of him!
Thanks, I love that pic so I've kept it up for quite a while.
You could be right about it being a janitor, either or I guess. All I know is if it were me who threw away the cup, not a single soul in the world would have known it, lol. I would have just dropped my head in shame, and kicked myself several thousand times (uh, say to the tune of $29,000 times), and that would have been that. Besides, it's a much nicer story for this 10 year old to tell her grandkids...and it's not THAT much money. Nothing to make or break a person I don't think. Now if it were a million dollars, maybe then I'd kick my shame to the curb and get a lawyer, hehe.

Isnt there a story like this every year ? People should take responsibility for their own cups and if they toss it TOO BAD hahahhaa this makes me laugh
Although if it were me I may be singing a different tune !
I say they should split the money all ways including the kids so they can start their much needed education funds especially after these hikes !

I have yet to win, either. But I'm not a big fan of Tim Horton's coffee (gasp!) - it's that nicotine aftertaste which doesn't settle too well with me, lol. But some of their flavoured coffees are ok. My husband has french vanilla running through his veins!

The whole thing is so sad...I mean what lessons are the parents teaching the kids???The 10yr olds dad went and claimed first, then the 12 yr olds parents what a piece, now a janitor???It's good to know these kids will grow up with this memory, and have it for the rest of there lives!!!!why don't they just sell it and split the cash????I know why GREED!!!!It's so very sad....Kim
I am a cafe mocha addict!!..Under the rim of the cups is a chance to win money,a car,tv,or food and cooffee,,but you have to rrol up the rrrim to see if you win!!..Kim
