Has anyone taken a cortisol test to rule out Cushings', due to an overlap of symptoms with PCOS?

I went to see a new endo last week who wants me to take a cortisol test and wrote a scrip for dexamethasone. No instructions other than take at 11PM the night before the test. Pharmacy gave no other instructions either.

I just want to be sure I'm not supposed to fast or anything like that.

welcome to sc hmm, could you ring to check?? i had a syncathen test done - but i had injections at the hospital.
