Unhappy Running out of patient waiting for AF

I have been on Met a month now...waiting for AF....
I haven't been having her unless I take provera.
But my RE doesn't want me taking anything to start besides the Met.
I have been doing really well, changing my eating habits, exercising, dropped a few pounds, etc.
I just want this ball to start ROLLING.
trying to be PATIENT, but I feel I have been these past YEARS.
AUGH.
Anyhow.....need some words of encouragement.
I know I need to lose ALOT more weight, I want to hardly not eat at all, but I know I need to lose it slowly and right this time, so it will stay off.
OK...sorry this turned out to be a you-know-what-session

Oh honey, definetly give it more time. I was on met for 9-10 weeks before Af arrived, and they weren't regular for another year. It takes some people's hormones more than just 28 days to regulate, and the longer your hormones have been bungled, the more time you'll need to give your body. I know how hard it is to be patient (especially whern our Dr's claim it's such a quick fix), but give your body some time, ok?

Ok....thanks . Its just so hard sometimes. But I am hanging in there, at least I really don't have side effects from it. A little upset tummy now and again, but thats all. Since I have been eating better, I can tell you that my bad acid reflux is almost void. That alone is enough to celebrate about I guess
Have a nice day.

Hang in there....it took me 4 months on Metformin before I got my first natural AF (Aug 2003)...and unfortunately I haven't had a natural one since. It works differently for everyone...hopefully it will all work out for you!
