Thank you so much for replying.
Apparently it was not my first ruptured cyst, as my ultrasound shows some scarring as well as cysts, and a lesion.
I guess I just got freaked out when the pain became severe and my breasts became swollen and sore (haven't had that happen in over a year).
I called 911 to talk to the medics. They were very helpful, squeezed my hip bones and told me if it were infected or hemorrhaging, it would have been excruciating when they touched me, and also I wouldn't have been able to walk around and show them the medications I was on.
Ironically notable, the one medic told me that "some forms of birth control can cause cysts and it'll take your body a while to get back on track." She then asked if I was ever on the depo provera shot and also if I ever had an IUD - I said no but I was on the Nuvaring and she told me that all three of those are notorious for causing hormonal problems, she, knowing this from personal experience and from her experience in New York City as a Medical Assistant.
She noted that the depo provera shot was "the worst."
Obviouslly I have polycystic ovaries but never had any menstrual problems until I was polydrugged on hormones. Never again will I allow myself to be put on BCPs. I do not believe I was born with this condition. I believe this condition was medicinally induced, and my doctor is looking into a pituitary tumor secreting prolactin, he said because progesterone can actually stimulate the pituitary to grow a tumor.
