The adoption is FINAL. It's over with. I feel the relief lifted off my shoulders. It was perfect. My parent's were there, so was FIL and a aunt.
They cleared the room for us and had all of the people wait out in the hall while they did ours. They called us up front and asked me it seemed to feel like 1000 questions which I answered YES, YES, YES, RIGHT, YES, RIGHT, YES
. I was so nervous I didn't think I told them my name right. I'm like Bla Bla Bla Bla I was a basket case! Then they asked my husband do you agree with all except the part of mother of coarse your the father that all of what your wife said is true. He answer's yes
I'm thinking NOW WHY didn't they have the MAN Of the HOUSE answer all these questions, why ME????? Well then I got the answer, because they knew a man can screw up anything So they needed the WOMAN to do the talking (sorry guys, little joke) JK
Afterwards the judge came around and took pictures with us and Destiny and then they went and filed the Decree of Adoption. We got the copy. It's a done deal. We signed the new birth certificate and everything.
I feel so good that this is over now..... I can finally exhale!
I love her so much and am so happy to have her in our lifes!
I thank all of you for all of the support you've giving to me. Your wonderful and your kindness during this time will never be forgotten! I love my online friends!
