Oh Calantha!!!!!!!!

You have made me so happy. Here I sit in a somewhat depressed state--I really hate this not knowing. We get a lot of information off of various email groups and the info is so inconsistent right now.

We heard on Saturday that referrals were mailed on last Wednesday--so, give 5 or so days for mail to arrive from China and we were hoping to hear by tomorrow.

Well--of course other agencies are now saying that's not true and referrals have NOT been sent out yet. One agency even said we should hear "BY DECEMBER"!! WTH!!!

So...here I sit. I am refusing to be stuck to the phone (at least not all day anyway!) and I'm trying to take it all in better stride. I just wish someone could tell me a more approximate date--being "on deck" is really a tough ride!

Thanks so much for thinking of me. It touched me more than you will ever know.

Bad, bad news....

Just got an email from our agency that says no referrals this week and that they don't even know if they'll be here next week.

How sad...off to drown myself in some Halloween chocolate.

I'll keep you all posted, though.

((((((((((Huge Hugs for Lisa))))))))))))))) I am sure that this wait is very difficult for you... but that magical phone call will happen sooner or later and make this agony all worthwhile. When you hold your little girl all of this will melt away... Just think of it as having a looooong labor. My friend was in labor for 49 hours -- 24 of them hard labor. So, last week you were in labor... the coming weeks are the hard labor.
We are now paper ready and are waiting for our referral too.... the waiting is hard, but we are here to support you.

Hang in there Lisa! It will happen soon! Spend some extra time with DH and DD. Get your hair done. Pamper yourself and your family, enjoy the time you have left as a family of 3. When news of Emily finally comes, you'll all be happy, relaxed, and ready to CELEBRATE!

I remember quite clearly my friend at this stage...becuz she ate chocolate by the TON as well !! LOL She also *did not* leave the house for a very long time waiting for the magical *ring ring*
