Default it's official

Hey there everyone... Well, it has been a couple weeks since I have been on. Today I went for another dr. appt with an OBGYN this time. FINALLY, they diagnosed me with PCOS. It was up in the air for so long and no one really was sure if it was or was not PCOS. In some ways it is a relief, but in other ways crushing. I still held out hope until today that it wasn't. They are going to run a diabetes test on me tomorrow and if all my labs come out ok they will start me on Metformin. What exactly does that do? Does anyone know? Thanks for any help you can give.

Talking Metformin great

It's great to get diagnosed because now you can do something about having PCOS. New to site but I'm on Metformin and it has really helped me.
