Hi ladies! I've been a lurker on here for a while, but only recently have I received my official Dx. My most recent b/w showed an LH:FSH ratio of 3.5:1 and that sealed my fate. I am overweight with acne and irregular cycles (no polycystic ovaries...at least not yet.) You can check out my charts and cycle info through the ticker in my siggy.

A quick history: I have always had irregular cycles but drs never wanted to do any workups because I wasn't ttc. (Don't even get me started on this.) I've done everything from bcp to medroxyprogesterone, and now that I'm ttc I'm on the Clomid and Metformin train. (I'm still not O-ing on the 'mid.) I have had a new set of drs since last October and have come quite a long way in terms of much better care and figuring things out.

I am aggressively losing weight (down 23 pounds so far!) and have been charting since coming off bcp at the beginning of Jan. I've done my PCOS research, and while I'm still dealing with the shock of "you have PCOS", I was prepared for it and am looking forward with hope.

I know how you feel. I still am trying to deal with finding out I have PCOS. I didn't have regular cycles but wasn't worried about it before. Now I'm married and will soon be ttc. Right now I'm still on bcp so I'll probably be joining you with the charting in a few months. Congrats on the 23 pound weight loss.

Though I've known about my PCOS for quite a while I haven't pushed for anything until recently. (TTC as well) Good luck and keep us posted! Let us know if you need a shoulder or someone to celebrate with!
