Default It's too quiet on here...

How about everybody gives an update / latest piece of news?

e.g
Tammy-Lou, how's the pregnancy going

Fiona, saw your question about ovulation...are you TTC (I'm being nosey, just ignore me if you want!)

Eva34, what do you think of the Collette Harris book, is it worth buying?

everybody, please join in!

Here is my news...I had a check up with my Gynae on Monday, apparently my CA125 level is a little raised, so he has repeated the test. Probably nothing, but I can't help worrying

Heehee, are you bored at work too or is that just me...!!!

I have my very first ultrasound scan of my ovaries tomorrow. I'm almost excited! And am considering kidnapping my 6 months preggers mate and taking her with me as I have to go to the maternity hospital and will feel like something of a fraud!!

That's all with me, am also interested in hearing about the new book...

hugs
Jen

I am BORED BORED BORED.

I have lots to do, just avoiding starting any of them!

I'm assuming you've been warned about the possibility of a vaginal scan?

Sooo tha same here!!

Yep, not just warned, know that's the one! Fantastic! The said preggers friend in one of our e-mail yaps yesterday said she always imgained what they used for it to be a cross between an electric toothbrush and a food mixer. This mail was very quickly followed by another saying, no not the mixers like our mums used to have to have but the modern ones!! Much hilarity. She knows how my mind works!!

Hello

Well, the new Collette Harris book is good - so far. Have read about 200 pages - i'm like that with a new book - can't put it down until it's finished.

Anyway, enough of the ramble....... she's saying about eating lots of fruit and veg - and having a steamer. So, I went into town today and got one!! And some multi vitamins.

Hope you're having a good afternoon. Speak to you soon

((hugs)) Eva

I must admit been having a few off days with the old hormones though!! he he he Went to Tesco today to get some lunch and just walked round crying my eyes out!! Really embarrassing but I couldn't control it! lol Feel better now though...I think, but who knows what tomorrow may bring! lol I better not go in there again tomorrow as the security guard will probably have to escort me out!

I'm glad it's nearly the weekend thats for sure, I'm absolute gagging for a lie in in the morning!

Default expensive shop!

I decided the only cure for my boredom yesterday was a little light on-line retail therapy! 'im indoors and I have been talking about getting a home PC for MONTHS (years??) so I decided the time was right, and if I waited for him to make up his mind then it would never happen...so I bought a computer!

It's a Dell, for the non-techies here it is a nice dark grey colour with a big screen, for the techies it's got blah-blah-blah RAM GHz DVD blah-blah-blah Microsoft XP Pro blah-blah-blah.

Hopefully should arrive in a couple of weeks. Now we need a piece of furniture to put it in!

Husband took the news that I had spent £XXXX!!!! very calmly, and agreed that left to him we would still be just talking about it!

PS He only has himself to blame...a few months ago I saw a REALLY nice leather jacket in M&S, but as I don't usually spend much on clothes I phoned him to check if it was OK to spend £200 on just one item. He said "you don't have to ask my permission to spend our money", so I took him at his word.

Hee hee, I like your style of boredom relief! Now think of the fun you can have choosing a nice workstation kind of set-up, you'll need a really comfy chair... some new photo frames to surround it... lighting... oops, am I starting to sound like an Ikea catalogue??!!

I would love that for home but for now have to be content with my work laptop, which is nice when it means they can see where you've been on the net! They must think I'm a complete hypochondriac!

I have had a productive day in that my scan finally confirmed what I have thought for years now. So it's a big two-fingered gesture to all the Drs who rubbished me, a little bit of a bubble to myself, then if I can get all my work finished I think a few drinks are in order at the end of the day!!

Hhmm, and maybe some retail therapy at the weekend!! Can I just say I was following your example...

hi ladies..not been here much..been on the pregnant cysters board!..since i fell preggers...but dont really know whats happening at the moment!

as far as i was concerned i was 8 weeks pg....had an appointment with the midwife wednesday to book in...but an hour b4 appointment i started getting brown discharge!!.....so when i saw her, i told her......she didnt book me in,and sent me for a scan..to see whats going on!..well scan was yesterday (thursday)......couldnt see much on abdominal scan so did tvs....and it seems the sac, yolk is there!..but very small foetal pole was 1.3mm..meaning 5 weeks gone...but cant be right as i did hpt 3 weeks ago..and had sore boobs 2 weeks prior to this(that is the reason i did the hpt's).....anyhow she coukldnt see no obvious signs of bleeding..everything looked normal apart from being so small...i have to go next week for another u/s..to see if it has grown..if it has...then all is fine....if not, then it means it died at 5weeks,,,and they will refer me to gynae for a d&c!!!

ill have to wait till next friday to see whats going on!!

cheers ladies

Talking

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't been around much. Work, family and stress means I have been spending more time sleeping than anything!. UPDATE ON ME.
I am now on Met which is a bit scary. I am feeling very sick all of the damm time and I have spent more time on the toilet than talking to people recently but thats okay. My scans have come back really posistive, as has my blood work and my weight has come down before I was on the met (by 2 stone in total) so hoepfully I can shed the rest of it in due course and get preggers.

Only thing that scares me is some people on the boards have said it took as little as one month getting pregnant. I don't know if I wasnt a bit more notice first!!!!

See ya all later
