I was just wondering what the typical waiting time was for a semenal analysis? DH and I went to the RE about a month ago, and was sent a letter from the testing facility that 'our' appointment was on the 15th of MAY!!!
Personally, I think a three month wait is outrageous. They've also said they can do it more quickly if we pay £75.
Am I being unsympathetic to the demands of the NHS? I was just wondering since it's quicker to be referred to a specialist than it is to get this SA done.
My hubby's were back in about 6wks and he just got a letter in the post. It was always 3months between appointments.
As fustrating as it is, and as much as it's our top priority it's not the NHS's

well with my hubby there was no waiting list, when i had my gynae appointment he said DH would need to do a SA he literally gave me the pot and sent me off with it, DH then had to call the clinic on the day he was doing it then bring it in to them the results came back within about 3 weeks.

Thanks for the comments ladies, it's always nice to have someone on your side, especially when they've been through it too.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to reschedule our next RE appointment because the results won't be back in time... actually, the tests won't have even been processed by then.
