we just had found out 2 weeks ago that I was a month pregnant, went for first u\s yesterday to find out there is no baby, I have a blighted ovum a six week sac with no baby, I am so broken hearted has this happened to you before and can it happen again and is it a pcos thing.......

As for it being a PCOS thing, I don't think it's related (although someone please correct be if I'm wrong). From what I've read, it can happen in as many of 50% of pregnancies...It happens more that people think because it's before most women even know they are pregnant...I think it seems like it happens alot with PCOS because we are so in tune with our bodies and seem to know about pregnancy before most women would suspect they were pregnant. I hope that made sense....
Again, I hope you can find some comfort here....These girls are wonderful and supportive.

(((hugs))) I am so sorry you are going through this. This happened to me in the beginning of August. I really thought the pregnancy was good and that I would carry to term unlike last time, but, it ended way too soon. Please don't lose hope for the future. It's going to be tough the next few days or weeks but it will get better. PM me if you need to talk, okay?

I am so sorry for your loss. This also happened to me last year. Once they found out they gave me a week to see if I would miscarry on my own. I did exactly a week later. Again, I am very sorry for your loss........

I am so sorry for your loss....I just had that happen to me in August. I miscarried at 10 weeks but I didn't know it was a blighted ovum until I began to miscarry because I hadn't had my initial OB appointment yet. If you need to talk you can pm me ok? Just let yourself feel whatever emotions you have and express them however you need.

It took me about a week after stopping the suppositories to m/c... but my progesterone only ever got to an 18 -- I think yours was much higher.
I am so saddened to hear of your loss. Please know that I'm thinking of you and your DH and your little angel.

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
Ahh... that was your HCG level then that we were talking about. Even when I was over 30,000 I was a 14 I think.
What has your Dr told you? Do you need a D&C?
