I'm currently taking 500mg of Met twice a day. I just got my period this moring, finally, the first since November-ish. The cramping and backaches are unbearable. Does anyone know if it's okay for me to take pamprin, or any other menstrual relief pills, while on Met? If not, got any other suggestions? The heating pad just isn't cutting it today I apologize if this is posted in another thread, but honestly, I'm in no mood to go searching.

Talk to your health care provider if you are taking:
diabetes medicines such as insulin, glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase, Micronase), metformin (Glucophage, Glucovance), pioglitazone (Actos), and rosiglitazone (Avandia)
Makes me feel better for asking first instead of taking. I'll just wait for them to call me back and try the heating pad again until then. Thanks again for the replies!

They called back just a little while ago. It's okay for me to take 1 every 12 hours. I just need to watch for any unusual side effects. I'm so glad they finally called back, I took one right after I hung up the phone! It's helping some, enough for me to get things done around the house. Exercise will have to wait until next week.
