Since I just started on the levothyroxine (I think that's just generic synthroid)I asked a pharmacist today if there were any OTC cold/allergy meds I could take. She said I couldn't take any decongestants at all! The seasons are starting to change here, so my allergies and sinuses are making me feel terrible.
Have any of you been able to take those kinds of drugs safely?

Your pharmacist is being overly cautious because she probably doesn't know your health history enough to feel comfortable giving you an OK.
When all else fails ask your doc.

I went ahead and took some benadryl allergy and sinus; I just won't take any within several hours of the thyroid meds.
Thank you for the reponses, ladies!
