Default Sally Hansen Ate My Face, But Now I'm Hairless!

Least on my face. Last night after my shower I put that hair removing cream on my face. I had this pretty sweet beard of white dilapidating cream. If I was a guy, I'd have the BEST beard. I went in and told my husband I was more man than he'd ever be. Thankfully he said, nuh uh.

Anyways I finally took it off and while I'm smooth as a baby's backside for now anyways, holy biscuit socks, my face is RED. Sigh. I kept thinking how that one poster called PCOS "ugly woman syndrome". I used to do a bit of modeling, like for friends who were painters and stuff, and I used my face in a lot of my art projects. Now I just feel like a weird freak. (And to boot, AF is coming up soon, so, I have all sorts of face things going on.)

I just wish the hair removal lasted longer. I used to be able to shave my arms maybe once every week and a half or so, now it's like, once every 3 days, MAYBE 4. All the hair stuff is getting way worse. :\

What about laser treatment? I think it is something all women not just pcos sufferers deal with as they get older...or at least most women get hairier with age I use veet on my arms it works great and lasts a long time The joys of being a woman!! at least we do not have to suffer from saggy balls! (wink) could be worse...right? lol

I thought about laser treatment, but I'm scared. I'm scared of the pain (even though I have been tattooed for 3 hours once) and I'm scared of the cost.

Thanks! I call it the art of cropping and photoshop. Lol! Gradient lighting seems to slim my face... some! ;D Least, I like to tell myself this.

Try using the stuff before the shower. I found out that using it before a shower is better and irritates it less than using it after washing your face or after a shower. Something about the natural face, for lack of a better word, grease helps keep it from burning...I quit using the stuff because it not only burned my face, it also caused breakout. Good luck and you are beautiful.

You should totally do laser. It is so worth it. At least, that is my experience.

Your title made me chuckle!
Not at you but the situation...I have been there. I too use hair removal creams to remove body hair. I learned the hard way that the stuff I use on my arms, chest, & body is not the stuff I can use on my face. They do have products that are dedicated to facial use only. They work 100% better, they remove the hair & leave the skin with out the red marks of where the cream was applied.

Oh, I'm using the face stuff. I just forgot how badly it can burn. By the time it melted the hair, it took some face with it too. My husband was all like, "Oh my god baby, what did you do?" It's better now, but good grief, that was some ouch for a few days!!

I'm really thinkin' about laser, at least for the 'stache. This Yosemite Sam/catfish thing is gettin' old.
