Hi ladies, I'm looking for a PCOS knowledgeable Doc, and I'm hoping not to have to go TOO far. I live kind of out in the boonies, about 15 miles from town, so getting into Santa Cruz is already hard, driving all the way to Sacramento would be almost impossible. I wouldn't mind the drive, but we just can't afford that and the doc, not to mention the time away from home/work.

Let me know if you have any suggestions Thanks!

Hi, I live in Castroville/Prunedale area and I see Dr. Bassirri (endocrinologist) in Pacific Grove. I'm not sure how far that would be for you but she is pretty good.

You live in my old stomping grounds; I grew up in Santa Cruz.
I was diagnosed by a doctor named Patricia Hinz in 1995. She was the only one who listened to me and tested to give me a definite diagnosis.

I see a great endocrinologist named Charles Bruhn... he's in San Jose. He has an office at Good Sam which might not be too far to travel... Los Gatos... it would be like 30 minutes tops I think? I see him at a different office but you could call there and get his info for the Good Sam one.

408-347-2370 - that's the San Jose medical group. Push 1 for english then 4 to speak with back office staff.

Another cyster recommended him. He's really good.
