Who are you seeing right now? I am looking as well for a new doctor. I am seeing Dr. Thiele and am finding that he is just not working out for me. I am not happy at all.

Is there anybody else out there that know of any good doctors in Regina? If so who are they and how have the helped you?
Hi I am new to this site but I also have PCOS. I found out when I was 16 and my husband and I are now trying for our first baby. I live in Regina and see Dr. Jabbs. She is fantastic. I have had great luck with her although I think she may be hard to get into and I am not sure if she is taking new patients or not. Its worth a try!
Ok, I am both a nurse and a patient for PCOS...here's what I have exp about Regina...Onasanya is great at getting people diagnosed...ultrasounds, blood work, and even clomid if you need it. BUT I would not recommend him as an ongoing doctor, nor to deliver a baby.
Dr Akinbiyi is great too...but not as knowledgeable I found after birth when you need domperidone for milk or something..not as up on the facts about PCOS I would say.
As a family GP Dr Moolla is fantastic..super smart and you couldn't have a more caring patient doctor.
Hope this helps!

I am from Yorkton - and not satisfied either. All GP's here are not that great as far as i am concerned. I am not prejudiced but i would rather see a Canadian Dr instead of an African Dr. The one Dr i was seeing at the time was practicing medicine and had not even passed his medical exam yet! Something wrong with that picture.
As a matter a fact, after not getting the help we needed here (dh was diagnosed with cancer and 8 months later still had no care for him here in Saskatchewan) we just went to Toronto and got the care there. (My SIL is a physician and told us where to go) Hence the reason i am not to fond of the Dr here. Also, later found out a GP is not authorized to extract bone marrow and it should have been done by a Specialist, Hematologist.
As far as the PCOS for myself, i saw a Dr in Toronto as well. He gave me all the required care i needed.
Just my personal opinion on the situation with Dr in Saskatchewan. I have heard too many horror stories here in the Yorkton area .....

We just recently moved to Regina from Calgary, and I've had an incredibly difficult time finding a family doctor, let alone one that is knowledgeable about PCOS. I had my first appointment with Dr. Naidoo today, and she seemed to be at least genuinely concerned, and has me down for a whole whack of tests. That's the most positive reaction I've had in years!
Im from Regina, but Im back and forth from Ontario with school. Its good to see other people from Sask with PCOS, I was feeling pretty alone after I was diagnosed I cant recommend any doctors sadly, Im working with a doctor from my university clinic.
Does anyone know any PCOS friendly doctors in Regina??? I want to make sure my sister gets checked, as well as my mother. My mother was never diagnosed, but since my diagnosis, it would really make sense if my mother also had PCOS considering the amount of symptoms her and I share.
