does saw palmetto help with hirsutism if so how long does it take
I just started saw palmetto lastweek.I am hopping it would help.there are some posts here claiming they had some success with it.but remember you have to be patient herbal remedies would take some time to work.
gd luck
keep us posted ...I will let you know if I had any success.I am so happy I found this forum since all the docs are useless.
I'm taking it and believe that in conjunction with other things I'm doing (flutamide, metformin, flaxseeds etc) that it is helping.
It's gradual and I still see spikes in my hair growth (facial) but overall I think it's contributing in a positive way. I spend way less time in the mirror now with my tweezers. Still need to do it every day, but my chin is less red and my skin feels softer and looks better.
Yaz has some como in it that works like spiro,it is an anti androgenic drug.just make sure you dont overdose on anti androgens since saw palmetto does the same thing.
if your skin gets too dry then stop taking it.I know everyone wants to lower their Dheas but trust me if it gets too low it will affect your sex life, skin, muscle mass and so on.
