I'm taking it and believe that in conjunction with other things I'm doing (flutamide, metformin, flaxseeds etc) that it is helping.

It's gradual and I still see spikes in my hair growth (facial) but overall I think it's contributing in a positive way. I spend way less time in the mirror now with my tweezers. Still need to do it every day, but my chin is less red and my skin feels softer and looks better.

Give it about 3 months and see how you react.

I am on YAZ for my acne. Would that interact badly if I started taking saw palmetto?

I've been taking Yaz and saw palmetto (320 mg.) since Feb. and haven't noticed any bad reactions. I'm not sure how much it's helping, though.

Yaz has some como in it that works like spiro,it is an anti androgenic drug.just make sure you dont overdose on anti androgens since saw palmetto does the same thing.
if your skin gets too dry then stop taking it.I know everyone wants to lower their Dheas but trust me if it gets too low it will affect your sex life, skin, muscle mass and so on.
