I was just wondering if any cysters have had any problems with Saw Palmetto causing nausea?

I took it once a day (morning) for 6 days and became nausea on about the 5th day, thus the reason for stoping on the 6th day. I was nausea for a whole week after stopping it too?

I haven't had AF since August and am trying everything to get it started. I started Vitex today but I'm starting the lower dosage which from the way the health food stor owner explained it to me the tea is the lowest dose then the capsule in leaf form then the standerdized capsule is the highest dose. I am taking the capsule in leaf form once this morning and once this afternoon which I was told 4 of the leaf form equal 1 standardized capsule.

I am desperately seeking AF for next week! I am also on NPC and my 14th day on is this Saturday so starting Sunday I'm off. I don't really feel any signs of AF yet!

You know what? You just made me think of something!!! I had 3 false positive HPTs last month because I was nausea and had colostrum leaking from my nipples. I think the nausea was caused by the SP. I have stopped taking it because it did nothing for me. I never thought of that. I am interested in what others have to say.

I did not have the side effect myself but I have read that it is a documented one with SP.
