Default Saw Palmetto.. does it thin/stop ONLY unwanted hair?

Forgive me if there is already a thread on this topic. Just a question... I've been thinking about trying Saw Palmetto for the facial hair growth, but I'm wondering if it will take effect on my head hair growth. If it will thin out my hair hair, then I would rather keep on plucking! Anyone know about this?

Thanks!

Hm I take Saw Palmetto but can't really comment on it affecting my hair... All I know is it definitely helps with acne. Hope someone else knows though, best wishes

I'm taking it but I haven't seen any major difference yet. I would love to hear from someone who has significant improvements.

I'm holding out for a miracle........

Hi all,

I have been taking saw palmetto for a year now. I have noticed a lot of improvement on my hair issues. I have noticed slower growth on my face and less thinning on my scalp.

However, I noticed a big big difference after I started taking cinnamon and my blood sugar/insulin levels became more "normal". It could have been the saw palmetto and the cinnamon combined as it was about six months into taking saw palmetto that I started taking cinnamon (that's about the time it takes to make a difference on facial hair growth).

I pluck every week now instead of everyday. So I am considerably happier, but I still want more, I want to be completely beard free...

It's a bit confusing, but I hope it helps a bit.

M.
