Despite my weight of 194, I'm a B cup.
I've been taking 320 mgs of Saw Palmetto every day since December and haven't noticed any enlargement.

Seems to me there was a thread in this forum a while back about saw palm. and someone said that it's actually one of the ingredients used in those "breast enhancement" pills/creams/etc. that you see advertised in magazines....

Have ppl with large breasts ( who'd tend to put weight there anyway) noticed this always?

Points: 393.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 393.00 | I took Saw Palmetto for about 5 months and went from a B to a C. I told my herbalist and asked him if I could change (I quite liked the size I was) and he has cut out the SP and changed to motherwort and nettle root. There were some other things that needed changing too (AF was going on too long - about 30 days and I asked for something to make it a bit heavier and hopefully quicker) so I'm not sure which of the replacements was for that and which to replace the SP.

the saw palmetto, I've read, is supposed to help lower your testosterone.
try www.wholehealthmd.com and look for this herb.
I started taking Vitex (chastetree berry) to boost my progesterone, saw palmetto to help lower testosterone, folic acid, and dong quai to help even out menstrual cycle.
I just got tired of having to rely on glucophage, which I'm currently taking 2000 mg of and not seeing any results. (I am 5'2" and weigh around 200.) So I started researching herbs. I figured back in the "old days" they used herbs and such to treat ailments so why not try it. Plus I read a story written by a woman in UK who couldn't get glucophage so she took herbs and eventually became pregnant. Worth a shot......
Good luck to everyone!!
God bless!!!!

this is great news for me! I've always been flat chested and wouldn't mind a little help up top! |

Points: 3,190.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,190.00 | I've heard that soy protein reduces levels of estrogen -- which, if that's true, should prevent your breasts getting larger.
Not sure though -- for years they were saying that soy protein reduces the risk of breast cancer (because it lowers estrogen levels), but now a few studies are saying that it increases the risk of cancer. I don't think Japanese or Chinese women have particularly high breast cancer rates though, and they eat a lot more soy than people in the West, so the latter studies may be flawed or incomplete... |

I stopped taking all my prescribed anti-androgens, the Dianette and additional cyproterone acetate -- and have been taking Saw palmetto instead for about the last month or 5 weeks. I swear, I think my breasts are shrinking!
Maybe they're just contrary little suckers -- if you want them smaller, they'll take any excuse to increase in size, and if you want them bigger, vice versa. |
