Just found out my RE is leaving his clinic until at least october, maybe for good. He is battling cancer, esophageal cancer. I was in tears because he is the most kind, wonderful man ever. He is my favorite doc.
omgosh! I am sure this came as a shock to you when you initially found out!! I will pray for your RE. Please let us know if you hear of any updates.

Got a letter from him the other day and he said they caught the cancer early, but still had to have radiation and chemo. But, he's been dealing with complication after complication. His esophagus has narrowed so much he can't swallow well, and has had to have dilatation of it on a weekly basis. He'll be out of the office till at least october, but sounded hopeful he'll return. I'm just sick about it. boo hoo!! I wrote him a letter back saying how wonderful I think he is and I hope I got my message across that he is in my prayers.
Thank you for the prayers. I also added him to the prayer list at church.
