I took Yasmin for 3 months a while back and noticed that I was losing scalp hair. I stopped taking it and it went back to normal. This was back before I started suspecting PCOS. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

I had my first appointment with an Endo about 2 weeks ago. She had me do a bunch of labwork, which isn't back yet. She said that it does sound like PCOS to her. She said that even if the lab results didn't come back abnormal that I could try Spironolactone. I am kind of nervous about trying this since I found out that it is in Yasmin. I already have acne and some facial hair. I really don't want to add scalp hair loss to the mix again. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I took Yasmin for a little under 6 months, and it made my hair fall out like crazy! I found it very odd because I've heard of women using Yasmin to help hairloss! Once I went off of it, my hair loss stopped.
