Hi there. I'm pretty new here also but from what I've ready you can't just go by the scan as to whether you have PCOS or not. THat's just something I read yesterday when I got back from my scan! I do not know my results yet but if I understand correctly, those results are not the definitive answer. I'm pretty sure it's a combination of things. Have you had bloodwork done yet? I go in a little while for that. Good luck. I understand your frustration believe me but don't give up it seems like there are a few different things that may help. THis website for one. So much support and valuable information!

Welcome amana! PCOS is usually dx'd by a combination of symptoms, so the dr shouldn't go by just whether or not you have cysts. Are you seeing a specialist or an ob/gyn? There are a lot of women on this site who have needed to change dr's to get an accurate dx. I hope you are able to get some answers really soon! You have found a great website to help with your questions!
