Default Scar from scraping my skin with a tweezer

This kinda goes in the hirsutism section of the board, but it mostly goes in the skin problems section.

So this is what happened. I was trying to get a hair off my chest with a tweezer and it was pretty short and stubby, but dark so I was scraping the tweezer across my skin so I could catch it and with all the scraping, I gave myself a scar. The scar looked horrible in the first few weeks, but since, it has healed, but now I have a much darker pigmentation where it was. I did it in mid-May and it is now early September and is still there. I tried Hydroquinone, but I had an allergic reaction to it. So now I am using Meladerm and it seems to be SLOWLY lightening it, but I just want my skin to go back to it's normal color soon.

Has anyone ever had a similar situation and did you ever get rid of the hyperpigmentation?

Well, I wish I had an answer for you, because I have the same problem! I am a scraper, too, and more often than I'd like to admit. I've got the scarring in my armpits!

How long have you been using Meladerm? Because it takes an extended time to work, right?

How about exfoliating that area, with a scrub or microdermabrasion?

I've been using Meladerm for about 1 month and 17 days. Now, the website for Meladerm claims that the scars lightens significantly in 2 weeks. It may have, been not very much. Most people say it took them 2 to 4 months so I'm counting on that. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had success with it.

This is the thing, after I stop receiving Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow treatments (laser/light hair removal), I want to start dating again because I've been avoiding it for years because of my hirsutism and I really don't want this stupid scar that I foolishly gave myself to be there because it is smack dab in the middle of my breasts and it's brown and unattractive. I'm just so worried about how long it will be there.
