Default Scared Newbie in NJ

Hi,
My name is Konnie and I've been trying to have a baby for 10 years with my boyfriend. (who is now my fiancee) I just received the news that I have PCOS today from my OBGYN Dr. We are waiting for my vaginal ultrasound to come back now. She has diagnosed me based on my bloodwork. I'm just hoping that I will be able to conceive with the proper treatment. Did I mention that I'm 32 yrs old. I'm scared that I'm getting to old to have a baby. I'm currently going to college to become an RN. All my friends have kids and I get really embarrassed to really talk to anyone about it. I've been writing down a list of things to talk to my Dr about, Anybody have any suggestions?

Hey, Konnie. It is possible for you to still have children. 32 is not that old. Wait for the test results to come back and ask the doc what can be done to optimize your chances of conceiving. Dont be embarrassed, its not your fault that you have this condition and its not something you chose. We with PCOS have a whole different world of things we face then "normal" women, trouble with conception is one of them. If its your friends who are meking you uincomfortable/ embarrassed you need to talk to them about it. Let them know whats going on, I'm sure they will be more supportive and ummm gentle((?) not too sure if thats teh word I'm looking for) about whatever makes you feel bad. And I have read fairly often that with the right treatment that the other cysters have had more luck with conception.
Good luck to you, my thoughts are with you.
