I've just been diagnosed with PCOS and I am terrified!! I don't know what to do or where to turn. My partner doesn't understand the magnitude of what we have had dumped onto our lovely lives! I am terrified that I may never have a child!!

Angeleyes your reaction is the same as many others who are diagnosed with pcos. But try not to panic there are many options to people like us and there are plenty of us that go on to have children.

This site is amazing for information and there are plenty of other sites with similar info, and more uk based.

Good luck and we are always here if you need a chat.

honey i was scared too but if your partner can see past the symptoms of the pcos it doesnt rule out a family. me and my husband are going to try ivf in a few years time, if it works then great, but if not we have already agreed that we are going to adopt a child or two... just because you've got pcos doesnt mean you cant have a full life babe xx
