Default Scared and unsure

Hey everyone!

I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago when my then-husband and myself were trying to conceive. I couldn't conceive and I also wasn't getting a period, and didn't get a period until late fall last year. My husband and I split up last summer, and I moved in with friends of mine.

My body is trying to be in tune with my girlfriend and every time she gets a period, I seem to get one too, but mine last 2-3 weeks. Usually pretty typical except for the length.

Now, here I am... It's been 2 1/2 weeks, and the last couple of days it's been overly heavy. On Sunday, I soaked a Super Tampon and my underwear in less than an hour! This morning, I felt something move inside, and I went to the bathroom, and this giant blood clot came out. I've never had blood clots before, other than the typical baby ones, and now I'm totally freaked out.

Also, with this period, I've been getting cramps, which I normally don't and massive mood swings. Is this normal? Am I freaking out over nothing?

I haven't been taking my metformin since the hubby and I split. Maybe I should go back on it.

I don't know. Please help!
