Default Screw PCOS

just been diagnosed with a pituitary gland tumor!

check out the sight ´acromegalyinfo.com´ & you will find some interesting information/symptoms. My tumor is non-functioning, so am getting no hormones - therefore: stopped menstrating years ago (amenorrhea), now have diabetes, hypertension, mood disorder, headaches, visual field defects, skin tags, muscle weakness/fatigue.

It affects all the hormones & especially fertility.

My tumor was found because of a loss of hearing in my left ear. When an MRI was done the pituitary tumor was found - - fast becoming too close to the optic nerve.

Surgery is to be performed; however, the neurosurgeon wants to do it in a hospital that is not covered by my PPO. Special permission is required & it could take 2 weeks to get approval.

Known to be benign, recovery is very good.

Don´t want to worry any of you; but, after all these years of various symptoms, it´s all coming together to make sense!
