If it okay with the mods and all, I would like to begin a verse of the day to lift our spirits everyday. Each day (unless I am terribly busy), I will post a new scripture in this thread, starting with today's:
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
James 4:2-3
You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Sure, I would love to have others share scripture, too! That way, if I miss a day there will still be a new scripture posted! I am glad to see this great of an interest! Praise the Lord! Here is my scripture for today, which again has to do with prayer:
James 1:6 - But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
God bless you all!
In Christ's Love,
Lisa

16 That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day. 17 Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine. 18 We don't look for things that can be seen but for things that can't be seen. Things that can be seen are only temporary. But things that can't be seen last forever.
