Default Searching for natural cure for "bumpy" skin (tweezing)

I have developed very "bumpy" skin along the sides of my face and jaw line, where I tweeze the most. Any natural treatment for soothing this area and reducing the bumpy/lumpy appearance? Thanks.

You should try Tendskin it works great for that problem.... You can go on the Sephora website and buy it there.....

hi, i use St. Ives medicated apricot facial scrub for the bumps. It's really cheap and it usually works pretty well for me...

I gently use a pumice stone when I am in the shower, about every other day. I got one for my feet years ago...never used it on them, though. It hangs on a hook in the shower, and I just rub it very gently under my chin and along my jaw line...

I think using St. I'ves facial scrub, Tend skin or something like it and Tea tree oil is helpful or witch hazel (whatever is easiest to find) I've never used a pumice stone for anything but my feet, So I can't comment. I'm sure it' works just as well as the facial scrubs.

But my own personal advice is.. I've mentioned this before in the Hair section.. When I tweeze I use a hot compress... I take a wash coth with really super warm water and set it on my skin.. Sometimes I'll do it twice (It lasts about 5min's) It helps take the swelling out, and the redness goes away as well... I don't pluck much but when I do it makes the damage much easier to deal with. Because plucking can really cause some problems.

Deb, How much of this do you take? I'm curious in trying this because my issue's with the hair come and go, depending on my diet, and dedication. I'd love something that would start showing more results. Thank you for this information.

What does Indole3Carbinole contain? I've never heard about this before. I'm from Europe and we don't have the same supplements here or some of them have different names from those that can be found in the USA. Could anyone tell me what ingredients it contains? Perhaps I can find here something similar. I would try anything because this facial hair has turned my life into a nightmare.

Silverfairy: i take 200mg 3 times per day...i follow the instructions on the bottle. I take one capsules every 8 hours so that i always have some of it in my system.

Mary1: I3C is what is found in the cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage etc. These capsules are concentrated because they help regulate estrogen metabolism and we could never eat enough of the veggies to get an effective dose so supplemental sources do the job. Indole 3 Carbinole is the name of the active ingredient itself. Please take the time to read the links above and you will learn quite a bit more.....

best wishes ladies!

Deb your awesome! Thanks for answering my question.. I actually went and picked up some at the Vitaminshoppe the other day... I didn't know the best dosage so i figured I'd start with one pill a day then add if I didn't notice much.. But thank you for answering me. I appreciate it.
