Default Seasonal Affective Disorder

I have seasonal affective disorder and unfortunately, it is that time of year AGAIN. I am trying light therapy to manage the depression. Zoloft doesn't even begin to curb the negative paranoid thoughts. I feel like everyone is out to get me. I was wondering has anyone used L-tryptophan or 5HTP (which are precursors to serotonin) to help manage this problem? Thanks

Hey girl I am with you--------I always fear fall and winter!! Zoloft does not touch it for me either. Does the light help you? I am going to go back to my psych and request Effexor have you ever tried that one?
