Has anyone had problems taking seasonale? I have been taking it continuously for approx 3 years (skip inactive pills) to control migraines. I was getting mirgraines every month around the beginning of AF and this was my doctor's recommendation to fix the problem. I have read that Seasonale can cause IR and both my doctors have dismissed my concerns related to this. I was recently put on Metformin for IR.

... I don't know if I had problems. Looking back, I've probably had PCOS since puberty. I was on 4 different BCPs in 8 years, Seasonale for the longest (4 years). I stopped taking it in October and had 1 period, was diagnosed with PCOS in March 2009. Right now, I'm back on Seasonale, but I'm also on Metformin and Spironolactone (again).

I was probably IR loooong before the Seasonale.
