I'm interested in trying the progesterone cream in order to start AF (getting a little desperate now), and I've been told that here in Australia NPC is only avalible on prescription. I have booked a doctor's appointment for this Monday, but I'm sure he'll be a little apprehensive. Can anyone help me out? How should I go about asking for it?

From my experience, Docs in Oz are only apprehensive because they know NOTHING about it. My doc does alternative type stuff, so he's happy to write me a script for it. Mine is 4% cream and I take 0.5ml twice a day. Often they start you on once a day and see how you go. It's good to go to the doc with a doseage you want because most gp's are happy to prescribe it, but they just don't know what doseage.

Or, as suggested, you can get it shipped from the states.

Thanks for the input, girls. My new doctor was very cooperative, and prescribed me both the cream and Provera (as a last resort). Unfortunately, the cream isn't available in my state, so I may look at ordering it from an online pharmacy in another state. Fingers crossed. Thanks again for your help!
