After waiting around all day yesterday, biting my fingernails waiting to hear what the outcome of the selection committee was, we got an email this morning from the kids caseworker.
Something happened during the meeting yesterday and they have postponed the meeting until a undetermined date. The caseworker said she has to obtain more information regarding the children and their birth family before the committee will select a adoptive family.
We were a little disappointed to not have a for sure answer yesterday but then again we weren't told NO. So we are waiting again.
So I am asking for mega prayers for DH and I to get through this and in the end it will be the best situation for us all.
We really do want these kids but we know that the powers to be may have something different in mind.

((((hugs)))) It is so hard to wait. And even harder to wait to hear about children that may become a part of your family.
You & DH will be in my prayers. I pray that you have some peace right now. I know how hard it is to wait during adoptions - my children were adopted internationally, so we had a bit of waiting to do.
Keep us posted.

Thanks to you all. Knowing extra prayers are going up for us helps alot.
We still haven't heard anymore and the stress is really getting to us both, I'm afraid. Neither of us are sleeping real well.
We have to start getting ready to get all of our paperwork recertified so we can continue to look if this doesn't go through and if it does we still have to be licensed to bring them home. That I hope will keep us going for now.
My DH sent the caseworker an email today, just asking about any special inservice classes we should concentrate on. We hope and pray we get good news from her tomorrow, letting us at least know when the committee will reconvene. I will keep you posted.
Again, thank you all. Your support means more than I can say.
God Bless each one of you.
