I know some boards have a function whereby you can "self ban" from any forums you don't use. Is that available here?
I like to use the new posts feature, but as I'm not here as often as I used to be I find there are too many posts to go through. If I didn't see the posts in the fourms that I don't use it would cut that down. I love the new board and its features though, just wondered if this one was here.

I've never seen that feature. Could you direct me to a few boards that have it. That way I can figure out if it's a feature of that particular software or a 'hack' for vBulletin Software (which is what SC uses.)
I agree that it would be a good feature to have, and I've put in a request for a 'forum exclude' feature in New posts. (ie, you could go into your USER CP and 'exclude' certain forums from showing up when you click on NP)

Hi Kat - thanks for replying. Basically on the other board you put in a request to the admins to ban you from certain forums. I can see that could be a huge job here with the number of members. (Sorry!! Didn't think of that first.) But the feature you're desribing sounds great and is exactly what I was getting at. I hope it comes through.

I agree, let us know when that feature gets activated because I use the New Posts button and it would be nice to limit the forums I get.
Probably won't be soon. It requires software development. But there are other webmasters that have also requested it, so hopefully the developers will find a way to do it.

That would be nice Kat. I don't use the New Posts function because there are certain forums I don't visit and they seem to have a lot of posts... So I have to sort thru if I were to use that function, so I don't bother.
