I am having the same problem! I've been looking through other threads to see if there are any answers or reasons for it. From the other posts, it seems like some ladies on Met are also having the same problem. I'm not sure if you are on that or not, but maybe that is it! If that's not the reason we're experiencing it, I hope someone knows why! Thanks for posting the question...I was just about to myself!

I had this leading up to the point of being diagnosed with PCOS. For me, it seems to have been caused by elevated prolactin, a hormone that is only supposed to be elevated when one is pregnant.

Other reasons for sore boobs: being pregnant, being on birthcontrol, too much caffeine. As for the birth control, taking Vitamin E helped me to not be sore. But if you aren't preg or on birth control, you may want to ask your doctor about the prolactin. It can be elevated due to a tiny tumor on the pituitary gland. Or for mysterious reasons, such as pcos. I was scanned for a pituitary adenoma, and they found none, so they attributed the wacky hormones to pcos.

sensitive nips usually occur mid-cycle and end right before af for me. i used to think the sensitive nips were a sign of ovulation before i found out i have pcos and that i don't ovulate. i'll be getting more bloodwork next month and i'm praying that it indicates more normal hormone levels. i wanna ovulate!
