Question Serious Question that I have (Sorry TMI)

Hi cysters, i dont write on here that often so im kind of new to it, but i had something happen to me around the xmas holiday when i was with my boyfriend and would love to know if this has happened to any of u. Ok, my boyfriend and I are making love xmas eve, and i started spotting afterwards and didnt think too much of it. But... on xmas day we are at it again lol, but this time im bleeding as if im having my period ( l already had on Dec 1-5 thanks to provera). It only lasted for a few hours and went away. The next day we are making love again, and 30 minutes later im bleeding again and i really start to freak out cuz this has never happened before. I was just wondering does anyone know why this would happen cuz i cant see a doctor rite now cuz i just got off my parents insurance a few weeks ago (go figure crazy things start to happen now). Thanks for the help cysters i really need to some advice so i can calm my nerves down some. Sorry if this is too long.

You know, most of the time I am on my period. But there are times where I won't have it for a month. Or, i'll bleed every couple of days. But it never fails that after my DH and I have sex, I'll start bleeding everytime. I wish I knew why! I have no answers for you, but just thought I'd let you know that you're not alone

This has happened to me a couple of times within the past 6 months or so, when my PCOS decided to really flare up bad. Sorry, I have no advice for you but if it keeps happening them you should consider seeing a gyn, preferably one that deals with infertility (I have found them to be the best and most informed about PCOS).

I hope it clears up and stays away for you!

Default Not to freak you out

It could be caused from venereal warts. Have you seen all the commercials about a virus that can cause cervical cancer? If you have them and they are large enough to bleed during sex, you should be able to see them (or have your bf look).

Had you just finished your period?

When I have sex the few days following the end of my period, I always have at least a little residual bleeding. Not sure why, doctor said not to worry as it was right there at the end of my period and not midcycle or anything.

Might want to ask a doctor to be sure though.

I had polyps removed last week and they cause bleeding like that although I didnt have much bleeding but I did have a good amount of polyps. Fibroids can cause that too and they are both in the uterus.

i think the same thing happened to a friend. she said she was bleeding after intercourse, but not b/c of period. she doesn't have PCOS. she went to her gynecologist, and turns out it was just a small tear of the vaginal wall. i guess they were too rough. sorry if TMI. she was just supposed to give it some time to heal. i think a week or two without sex.
i hoipe this helps.
good luck.

I get this, too, and my doc said that its just sporadic bleeding b/c I do not ovulate and therefore don't get a regular period. So, the body just starts bleeding out of the blue to shed the uterine lining? It is odd though that it's after sex. I am starting bcp this month to regulate my period.
