I went into a baby store today, just to browse and dream...
One of the owners, an older man, came up to me and asked if I was finding everything ok. I off-handedly answered that I was just dreaming, and he replied, "Well, anything can happen. We had a woman in here last week that was 40!!! She was defective in some way..." He continued his story, but I was stuck back where he said, "defective in some way".
Really?? Defective? No, REALLY?
Sorry, I just had to rant somewhere...

Not completely related -but I went to a maternity store to get a top for my BFF who got her BFP... the cashier asked me if I needed to try to top on first before buying it. I answered "no, i'm all set" politely and then towards the end of the transaction she asked me again if I was sure about not wanting to try on the top. I told her "it's not for me."
HONEST TO GOD!! Doesn't anyone else ever purchase maternity clothing as a gift or am I the first woman to ever do that?!?! I should have been like "LISTEN, I'M NOT PREGNANT BUT THANKS FOR REMINDING ME THAT I HAVE INFERTILITY ISSUES!!" aaah.. ok. rant over. Ok since were sharing. Last night was my DH's grandfather b-day so we went over for dinner and a glass of wine. For the millionth time his grandmother called me Karra... his ex wifes name... they split up 7 years ago... and made a comment about the "f-ing stupid lazy mexicans" guess what I am... lol People say stupid stuff. Just gotta roll with the punches. I use those oppertunitys to rise above the adolecence. Keep your head up girls!

Honestly----people just don't have filters. Even AFTER you tell them what is going on.....some don't have filters. Take my BF's mom.....we were telling her about the new puppies. I told her, that since I couldn't get him what I wanted to get him....and she interrupts me to say "getting pregnant, having a baby"........to which I was first taken aback, then said, well, actually no....I wanted to go to FL and do the Dolphin trainer for a day. What I should have said, to shut her up was, "well, no actually, I wanted to get him some sex toys and viagra" LOL LOL
