Please do not think I am weird or anything. I am just posting this because I have been experiencing extreme acne over the last two months and I have not had problems with acne since I was 13.

I have been getting alot of various blemishs of acne on my breasts over the last few months and even have my pores filled with secretion alot. I have also had a lot of lactation in the nipples. I have not been pregnant. (Would love for that because the myth in our family to stabilize pcos is to have a baby than your system will go back to normal, don't know if that is true or not. It actually happened with my cousin). So, is it normal to have extreme pimples and secretion in pores with pcos?

Hope you are not too grossed out by this in anyway, I am really not freak.

Pregnancy often does great things for us cysters. However, for most if not all of us, the great changes in PCOS go away in time.

Acne with PCOS is common. You can check out the acne and skin problems board for more info. It has to do with our increased androgens. We produce more oil which produces more acne. For me Met helped. I also use an apricot scrub (St. Ives) a few days every month which seems to help. The theory is that when you get your hormones in check through diet, exercise and meds the acne will improve.
