Default Severe bloating around ovulation

Does anyone else get this? I think I ovulated yesterday or maybe today (it's always a crap shoot). I have had aching pain in my lower abdomen on both sides for 2 days, so that is usually a good sign I am ovulating. But it seems every month around this time I bloat up like I am 3 months pregnant....I mean it is awful!! Is this because my poor ovaries are so covered in cysts that they just get huge during ovulation time? I feel like they are struggling to do their job.

I have been TTC for a year now and was diagnosed with the string of pearls (also have acne, hair growth and tummy weight gain since going off BCP), but am not IR, so I was only given herbs (Cinnamon, Ginseng, etc.) no Met. I wonder if Clomid would help or hurt the situation? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I usually bloat up around the time AF arrives. I literally go up a dress size and it's not uncommon for women with both PCOS and without to experience this. I drink more water in response - believe it or not drinking more makes bloating less. Some women successfully take herbal remedies for their bloating too.

Perhaps someone else will have a suggestion as to what they take, upping water intake works for me though.
