I had a D&C on Monday the 19th. In just the past two days I have been experiencing severe pain when having a bowel movement. The pain is very hard to explain, it is something I have never experienced before. It feels like sharp cramps all along my bottom. It even happens sometimes when I just have to urinate. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before? Thanks, sorry if this is TMI.

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
I just called the Doctor on call and she is not sure what is causing this. She wants to meet me at the office this evening so she can do an exame and maybe an u/s to she if she can figure it out. I feel bad making her come in on her days off but she was great about it and even though I tried to talk her out of it she insisted. I will let you all know what she finds...if anything.
I was just going to say that the same thing happened to me. It felt like when my bowels were moving either for gas or a movement that they hurt. Like as they were going past my uterus it hurt. I figured it had something to do with all the trauma that had been going on down there. It hurt like mad! It got better and I started taking fiber to make sure my BM's were softer.
Hope that helps you. I was worried too!! I thought my bowels burst into my insides!

I went to the doctor and she did an utlra sound. She found a small piece of tissue still remaining in my uterus. It is only about 2 cm round. That seems to be what is causing the problem because as soon as she pushed down on that part I felt the sharp pain again. She gave me some medicine to help contract the uterus and squeeze the remaining tissue out.
It is so annoying. I just want this to be completely over with!!!! I am leaving tomorrow morning to fly to Massachusetts with my two three year old boys. I hope it doesn't happen on the plane or at the airport because my DH is not comming with us. Knowing my luck it will.
Sorry about the rant. Hopefully everything will be fine.
Ouch! Well, I'm glad she figured out what the problem was!!!! I hope you feel better!

wow, i'm glad you got an answer instead of a nasty infection that could drag things out! best wishes for your trip and the meds to safely take care of the tissue.
