Hi. I'm fairly new here and just....honestly frustrated because to get into the board where I want to find answers to the one burning question I have, I have to make 20 posts to access it. And I'm just really shy and honestly just really wanting to ask this one question right now.
I've seen that people have pain during sex, and sometimes even during masturbation- I have that as well...but has anyone noticed that orgasms or intercourse, or even stimulation...makes cyst growth go faster? Or worse? Or am I just hallucinating?
It's almost made me start to feel guilty and ashamed. Am I, in an effort to make myself feel better....making myself worse? Please let me know if there are any answers. I'm really sorry if this was TMI, I really just had nowhere else to turn.

I'm not clear as to what you're referring to here -- ovarian cysts or local cysts around the genital area?
It may be very difficult to find the cause of apparently-related things and when it comes to orgasm and masturbation, remember that the high levels of testosterone common in PCOS make a woman very much more likely to reach orgasm compared to other women and make masturbation a "necessity" to an extent that is more common in males than females.
Oops, I'm sorry. I should have been clearer x.x I was referring to ovarian cysts when I asked my question, because that's what I have. I just...I don't know, I was wondering if I was making things worse for myself. But I suppose stinging or hurting on or around the cysts after sexual anything might be common...?
