Okay, a quick question. I have to shave my face everyday. Not a problem at home. But this weekend we are going camping (something I haven't done since I was a child). Now unless things have changed dramatically over the last 15-20 years, there is no privacy at a sink in campsites so I don't know how I'm going to deal with this. It is essential that I do, as one of the reasons for going away is that we are going to my gran's 90th birthday party!
aww - could you try cream like immac or something? Or those silkymitt you can get in Superdrug (see your in the uk). And go and use them in the loo with the door shut.
Hope someone else can help with other thoughts too

I just took a bowl with me and fetched some hot water and shaved in my tent... the last time I went camping there were the usual sinks which were open and showers in the ladies bathroom but even when I am clean shaven people see me as a guy (which isn't a problem to me), but the campsite also had an area with separate shower cubicles so I would just shave in there. Or use an electric razor in your tent, braun do a good travel one for £11.99 in Superdrug (I paid £19.99 in Sainsburys), my buddy has now taken that razor as her own...lol (she hasn't got pcos but has to shave her face) she likes it so much, and if I shave I prefer to wet shave.

Maybe you can borrow an electric shaver from DH and use it in the tent. People would think it's him shaving.
It's stinks to have PCOS

I know it is painful, but maybe you could pluck the hair just before you leave. I don't know how much you have, but if you have alot like me, I had my husband pluck them out for me on several occasions when I knew I could not shave for a couple of days.
I hope this helped. And a Very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your Gran!!!!!! 90 years old God Bless her!!!!
I taught myself to shave in the shower without a mirror-more by feel than looking at anything. I manage to do ok, but it is mostly my neck/chin. No cuts so far! Probably not the best solution, but easy to do in a public bathroom! good luck and have fun!
