Default shaving tips please......

i have been epilating for a while with the odd little bit of shaving, but i have just started shaving properly but it seems to be bringing me out in spots up the side of my face just wanting to know if there is any tips to stop irritation etc

Try one of the men's range of electric razors by Philips/Norelco -- they're as non-irritating a way of shaving as you'll find.
