Post Shea and Coco Butter??

I have heard that by putting Shea or Coco Butter lotion on your skin like the tummy, it helps the skin and lessens the stretch marks. Has anyone used this and did it work? What do you use?

I've always heard cocoa butter will help keep stretch marks away. I haven't heard anything about shea butter yet.

I've been using Palmers cocoa butter since the summer in the hope of getting rid of the little sods. It's worked great in some areas, but on the older streach marks that I've had since my early teens, like on my hips, I haven't noticed much difference. I was using it for a few weeks before I was any noticable difference on my stomach, and it's still slowly improving.

I've heard bio oil is good too, but slightly more expensive and I'm on a student budget so I haven't tried that one yet.
