Hi everyone! I've been reading a few threads here from time to time as a lurker, and figured it was time to register. I'm 25, and I was diagnosed with PCOS in May 2009, after TTC for 15 months and having irregular cycles. I was put on Metformin in May, and although I felt better, nothing happened with my cycles. Now I'm waiting to start Provera (I'm in week 2 of no sex, waiting for a negative pregnancy test), and will take Clomid. I'm very nervous, especially since the timing isn't exactly ideal (I'm a teacher, and getting pregnant now could impact me getting hired full-time for next school year), but we're ready and don't want to wait any longer to try. So, we're in for the long haul! I'm really looking forward to chatting with people in similar situations, and having a support system in general

Welcome! hehe. I look forward to the support portion too, so its what Im doing now!
Best of luck on the TTC and I say go for it now too. I plan on being a teacher when my schooling is finished. I say if you are not showing, dont tell them :-p You could get the full time teaching spot and your baby.

hi! nice to meet you! like you, I decided to finally register too! I was on metformin briefly but had neg side effects, and just recently got off bcp's. thinking about trying primrose to help with the cycles. Not ttc yet but hopefully soon. Good luck with that!
