Default short lp after miscarriage???

I feel like I'm being kicked while I'm down. I ovulated after my miscarriage but my lp was only 9 days. Is that kind of thing normal after mc? Mine is usually 13-15 days. I'm hoping my body isn't going to totally crap out on me now? Anyone experience anything like this and then go on to have normal cycles again? TIA

I did BCPs after my miscarriage so I didn't have a luteal phase... but my period after the BCPs was freakishly light. I mentioned this to my nurse and she said this is very normal after a miscarriage, w/ or w/o BCPs. I would think that a short LP could be one cause for a lighter period (weaker O, less time/hormones to build good lining...) so that might be one reason this happens.

It's probably nothing to worry about. Probably just your hormones a little wonky for the m/c.

Hormones are pretty whacky the first 1-3 cycles after a miscarriage, so yes, that can be perfectly normal and doesn't indicate that things will be wonky next cycle at all.

My LP didn't change after my miscarriage. I have been taking Vitex though. It corrects LP defects.
