Default Short Luteal Phase???

Anyone else have this problem??? After reading another post and it was suggested, I checked my charting and I am pretty sure mine is short. Last month it was 11 days and this month it is 11 days as well. Not to mention the months before I am fairly sure that when I did ovulate it was late. I have read that B6 will help and was wondering if anyone else has tried it and if so did it work???

I am not actively TTC per say, but if it happened that I got pg I would love it. However, now that I got my cycles more regular, the next step is to ovulate at the correct time. So far that isn't happening. I have not talked to my dr about this as I haven't been in to see her in a couple months. I just want to get my body working correctly. Being short would explain the getting pg and not staying pg for me and would help me to understand better.

Thanks in advance.

Default Luteal phase

Because I have been charting, I've been able to determine that when I actually ovulate, my luteal phases are usually 12 days, but last month it was 11. My doctor says this is normal and acceptable.

According to the reading I've done, a "normal" luteal phase is usually between 10 and 14 days. It has to be at least 10 days to sustain a pregnancy. I have read that in several sources, but the only source I can specifically remember the name of is "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Wenschler (www.tcoyf.com). THIS BOOK IS AWESOME and I'd highly recommend it.

Best of luck!

Hey thanks. I think I will see if they have it at the library. I just hate paying the high costs for books I am only going to read once or twice. LOL But it does give me an excuse to check out the library since I haven't yet.

I did not know that 10 - 14 was normal. I had read that anything less that 12 was not good. Gives me some hope.

Thanks
