Default Short periods (AF)? [TMI?]

Just curious:
I tend to have very short, but painful, periods. Only about 1.5 to 2 days. Maybe a bit of spotting on the 3rd day, but that's it.
I have super heavy flow the first day, pretty darn light flow the second, and just possibly some clumps on the 3rd.
Weird, right?
I am getting a lap next week to check for endometriosis, but I was wondering if this was a comon PCOS thing too.
Thanks!
