I have a blood test with the phlebotomist in an hour to check my blood sugar levels...

So I tried to get Metformin through my GP but failed, he said I had to be diabetic and referred me to an endo, it's been a few weeks now and the hospital hasn't got back to me and I can't be bothered waiting anymore lol inpatient i know ;d

So if I have high blood sugar levels or something, my GP miiiiiiiight give me Met... I had to fast for 12 hours

should I eat chocolate or something to make it high? It would just make it easier

Hi Tara,

I know how frustrating this can be, esepcially as some Drs will prescribe the drugs and some won't. My GP would not prescribe me Metformin either.... however I really do not think you should mess with your medical blood results.... by doing this you could be misdiagnosed and mistreated and cause further problems to your health.

Be patient waiting for your appointment and gather infromtion on Metformin to take with you and make sure you have all the questions to you want to ask written down.

glad your blood tests went ok. Id suggest ringing the hospital for results, too. That's the only way sometimes, And then keep rining them every day until you get some answers!!

I just realised I made it sound as though I've already been to see the endo, I haven't lol, he referred me like, 2-3 weeks ago and they haven't given me an appointment or anything...

!!
